ABOUT US

805 UndocuFund is a 501 c(3) corporation governed by a volunteer board of directors that aims to ensure that undocumented families impacted by disasters such as wildfires, mudslides, earthquakes and the COVID 19 pandemic have equitable access to the critical information, support and resources necessary to survive, as well as recover and rebuild their lives with dignity.

Since its creation in 2018, the 805UndocuFund has worked with philanthropy and community partners to distribute over $8 million dollars in financial disaster relief to over 6,000 households (more than 17,000 Central Coast undocumented residents) who were not eligible for state and federal disaster assistance and social safety nets, due to immigration status.

805Undocufund is the result of a collective community effort and partnership among Santa Barbara and Ventura Counties-based grassroots organizations that have a solid reputation, strong track record, and are known to and trusted by many immigrant residents: Future Leaders of America (FLA), Mixteco/Indigenous Community Organizing Project (MICOP), and Central Coast Alliance United for a Sustainable Economy (CAUSE).
